This is the best new tool to come along in twenty years. What a great idea and excellent implementation of it. This is the coolest crescent wrench I have ever seen. It makes it so easy to work on projects where you have different size nuts to tighten and especially when working where space is limited. The electric adjustment on the wrench is amazingly quick. I mean you hit the switch and it's snug up against the nut ready for you to start turning.

Hitachi NR90AD Clipped Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer

I purchased two of these new models based on the experience that I have had with the NR83aa2's. Keep in mind that I run a framing crew and we rely on these guns all day every day. The gun shoots excellent. However, there is a piece of metal that acts as a lever for the retaining clip. On both of my newly purchased NR90ad's this piece of metal broke within the first three weeks and three weeks later I am still waiting for the parts. Long story short, that one one particular part that was poorly designed has turned what would normally be a great gun into a worthless piece of metal until those parts come in. 2-15-2005

Milwaukee 7100-20 Round Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer

I am a General Contractor and I have used a few different framing nailers over the last year. I have tried Porter Cable (I hope you like nail jams), Hitachi (double fire king, but never dies), and Max (could get a really good gun or a piece of jamming crap, just depends on which box comes off the shelf). I purchased the Milwaukee due to raving reviews, but when I received it I saw that it was made in Taiwan. Damn. Unless you want a Bostich (made by Stanley), it looks like you're out of luck when it comes to finding a framing nailer made in America. I almost returned it for the familiar and job site dominant Hitachi, but I decided to keep it and I am very glad I did. Very Well Balanced Machine, little fatigue during the day. Great hands-free depth adjustment. Extremely easy to load, advance and clear. You can change from restrictive to sequential fire easily on the trigger.

My Hitachi can now be retired, I will not go back, this is my framing nailer of choice. As another reviewer seems to have found out, this is not an appearance nailer, for something like siding you may want to try the Porter-Cable RN175A Coil. I have had no problems sinking 16D's in even engineered lumber. For everyday use the 350A is highly recommended.

AO Safety 95090 Quicklatch PRO Dual Cartridge Respirator

You can get a clean seal with this respirator really easily, but not with a beard, not even a goatee, not even once it's tightly trimmed. I tried it all. For me the will to fix our bathroon ceiling trumped the hairs dancing around my mouth and chin, at least temporarily, thus I shaved. Post shave this thing is airtight and I am comfortable. The venerated goatee will grow back, lungs don't. The canisters cover most nasty stuff you may encounter, up to and including mold and asbestos. Be smart: wear a long sleeve shirt, gloves, airtight eyewear, and earplugs.

Grex P635 23 Gauge 1-3/8-Inch Length Headless Pinner

I am simply amazed by this pinner. I have used many others with less features and the Grex p635 is a hands down winner. Few manufacturers offer a 23ga pinner as versatile as the P635 with the capability to shoot 3/8 to 1 3/8 pins and self adjusting to boot. No splitting of crown or delicate hardwood mouldings even within 1/8" of an end mitre. I have pretty much retired my 18ga brad nailer for high end trim in leu of the Grex P635. I am impressed with the holding power of the 23 ga pins in hardwood crown on cabinet installs. As a professional wood worker I highly recommend this pinner.
