Delta 37-275X X5 Professional 6-Inch 1 Horsepower Jointer, 120/240-Volt 1 Phase
I have little to compare it to, as this is my first jointer. This was easy to set up, I've had no problem with chip extraction, and I'm very happy with the surfaces Get Here

Hitachi Horsepower Plunge and Fixed Base Variable Speed Router Kit
I'm a sucker for a deal, and probably came out ahead with the price match guarantee and free finish sander, but I have a feeling that I'll be missing the better quality and design of the Bosch down the road

Grizzly G1029Z 2 HP Dust Collector w/2.5 Micron Bag
I have this collector WITHOUT the 2.5 micron bag, just double 30 micron bags. It is quite the sucking machine. I actually have it attached to a duct work system and it frequently sees 2 machines at once, and occasionally 3 machines. I also have a floor sweep outlet and it works well to pick up pretty heavy material. I have found that when connected to a table saw OR a 15" planer, and your choice of 2 other tools selecting from a radial arm saw, band saw, mitre saw, belt/drum sander, or other hand tools, it will collect the vast majority of collectable dust with everything in use. Of course, the fewer tools in operation the better. Most of material I work with is MDF, so I generate a lot of dust. I have been generally pleased with this machine, but I am glad I did not go for the finer filtration bags based on other comments. The 30 micron bags do a good job, but there is some fine dust that passes. I don't notice any dust problems when working with real wood however. I'm looking at building an outdoor enclosure to eliminate all dust and noise.

Yukon Tool YTRB24 24-Piece Router Bit Set
We bought this set when we built our house last year. We used the set a lot and rounded the edge on every window sill in the house. The bits seemed to hold up well considering the cheaper price. There are a lot of helpful and fun bits in this set and I anticipate that we will be using more of in the future.

Factory-Reconditioned Skil 1810-RT 1/4-inch 120V Fixed Base Router
There's no tool like this fixed base router for edging, trimming or cutting, and this 1-3/4 horsepower fixed-base router from Skil can perform all the functions needed in a home workshop or on the job site, even though it draws only 9 amps of power at full speed. And no matter what the task, this feature-packed model is exactly what you want. It has a 1/4-inch quick-change locking collet, 100-percent ball bearing construction, a large depth scale that's easy to read, and a micro-fine depth adjustment that makes fine-tuning your bit depth fast, easy and accurate

Grizzly G0453 15" Planer
Easily the best value in a planer.
- The mobile base works great - very stable when stationary and moves easily when the third wheel is down.
- The table on mine is very flat and it along with the lower rollers were well adjusted out of the crate. I had to adjust everything else and that took a few hours, but not a big deal since that shouldn't occur often.
- This planer devours wood and seems to have the right amount of power to handle most anything.
- Dust collection worked well even with a smallish dust collector (500cfm).

DEWALT DW708 12-Inch Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter saw
Love it , love it , love it. DeWalt really thought this one through. Form the smooth belt drive to the cam lock table. I can not find fault with this saw. It has absolutely the largest capacity of any SCM saw on the market. It is the only one with such a huge fence to support your material. If you need to bevel cut , just turn the knob , and it slides out of the way. No one else gives you that option. (If Makita did , I would be more inclined to go that direction, since their LS1211 is such a sweet saw, even more refined than the DeWalt.)

Porter-Cable 343K 5-inch Random Orbit Sander Kit - Hook & Loop Pad
It is comfortable to use, it removes wood pretty fast and has an excellent scratch pattern.
The case is handy but would benefit from more storage for sand paper.
I found the dust collection just ok with the canister it does its work but you have to empty it very often which is annoying. This is not an issue however if you hook the sander to your shop vac.

DEWALT DW7350 Planer Stand with Integrated Mobile Base
I think this is a great feature to include with this product as it adds an extra storage spot and it also adds rigidity to the stand (although it felt very sturdy anyway). For now I have put my Delta planer on the stand and am pleased with the utility of this product. The only thing I can think of that could be improved a bit, and this is minor, is the particle-board top of the stand. I felt it was a bit undersized and also a bit too thin

DEWALT DW7353 Chip Collection Accessory for DW735 Planer
Not having space for a dust collection system, the blower on the DW735 helped me decide on the DW735 planer. The planer works really well at evacuating the chips and chip collection is a necessity. I tried using a trash can that I had but some dust came out around the handles; the handles were molded up near the can opening keeping the hood from a tight fit.

DEWALT DW734 Heavy Duty 15 Amp 12-1/2-Inch Benchtop Planer
Quality control seemed to have skipped my machine for some reason, but now that the bugs are gone (I hope), this is a great planer. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 for the bugs I had to deal with. One other quality control problem: the data sticker on my machine says it's a DW735 13" Thickness Planer! The folks at DeWalt sure were shocked and confused at that big oversight.
