The saw is designed to cut round or bar metal stock such as rebar up to 5/8 inches in diameter, and it cuts plate steel up to 3/16 inches thick. For cutting conduit, threaded rod, strut, spiral duct, and metal siding material or roof decking, nothing does the job faster or smoother. Really, why leave behind burrs that have to be touched up later? This saw’s thin-kerf blade and high-speed motor cuts smoothly, with no rough edges to file down later.
